I updated some pages on the site and fixed the Music page. I noticed that some of the music was not available in its full format, which would have conflicted with the album on Bandcamp, so I reuploaded all of it. You can listen to or buy in its full format over at Bandcamp now. Also, I’ve begun artwork on the first of the two new albums to be released later this year.
2 albums done
Believe it or not, I just finished yet another album. I had one waiting in the wings, but couldn’t stop the creative ocean. Needless to say, there are over 20 brand new songs spread over both these albums.
I’m now going to stop creating and start promoting. I think I’ve got enough material to keep me busy for the next two years. I’m totally serious.
Stay tuned. The best is yet to come.
Take a moment to reflect
As we enter a new year, let’s reflect on the good and bad. And let’s resolve to do better. For everyone. Do until others as you would want unto yourself.
Last year was particularly hard, for a lot of people. Too many have been hurt for no good reason at all, and most of it has been preventable. Everyone is so caught up with themselves, that they don’t take the time to see how their neighbor is doing. If we could all do one good thing, pass it around, and keep continuing, the world will be a much better and easier place for us all to live.
As for my part, there is no greater good than sacrificing for the good of others. Of course, the music continues. New album coming real soon, and it sounds great. As long as I can continue to do this, I’ll have at least contributed something worthwhile to the world, rather than leaving a lasting legacy of ruin. May we be protected from that.
Here’s to a better 2013. For all of us.
On a more serious note
Just read about the ridiculously horrible evil regarding the deaths of all those children in Connecticut.
No child, whether it be in Iraq, Australia, Afghanistan, Syria, Palestine, the United States, or ANYWHERE deserves to get hurt and/or die like those children have. All too often it is the innocent that suffer, needlessly. And we all need to do something about it as a society, to prevent such evil from constantly perpetrating itself, instead of just sitting back and letting it go. There’s nothing political when the innocent die, and especially at the magnitude that it’s happening nowadays.
I dedicate this song, Unanswered Letters, to all who were lost, their families, and those who suffer needlessly. This is the full song, and buying is not necessary.
Just a quick update…
Migration over to the new website has been fully completed, with email and all. In the meantime, I hope you all are enjoying the new song. I promise the new album will be worth the wait. Thanks for all your support; it helps drive me to keep pushing forward.
I’m back
I’m back.
Now that I’ve migrated back to this site as a foundation, it has in the meantime become much more leaner, better organized, and allows me to keep in touch with all my fans in one central location. Not to mention that it’s completely tied in with all the social networking sites and completely integrated with iPhone and Android devices, looks like it’s time to roll again.
I have another full album ready for release. All that needs to happen is artwork and media. Don’t forget to listen to the new bonus track from my album. Talk to you all soon.
Awesome NuwrayN site for your mobile phone!
New song from upcoming album
Here is one of the bonus tracks from my upcoming album. The name of the song is This Mystery.
This song features a coalescence of two prominent Oriental instruments, the Koto and the Shamisen. I tried to capture a mysterious atmosphere and infuse it with violin/orchestral tracks, and the result was this song. I think it is a very good effort, and I certainly hope you will be pleased with it. Enjoy…
I’m still here. For the long haul.
I admit it’s been a while since I updated the site. Sometimes life becomes convoluted and takes up so much of our time that we forget the important things. I haven’t forgotten.
The music never stopped. As a matter of fact, I’ve since finished another entire album and am again halfway through a new one.
If one thing is constant, it is the pain that all of us feel. It is part of who we are, why we do what we do. It helps to drive us. The problem is that a lot of us do not know how to control it and it drives us to do all the wrong things. And hurt each other in the process.
I wish I could stand here and tell you life is peachy. It’s not. Everyone is searching for that inner (and outer) peace, but it is ever elusive. We are all just pulling shades over our eyes to temporarily mask the sadness. It doesn’t work. You need an outlet.
And this is the reason for my music. It’ll continue.
I’m in the process of moving back to this site, as it’s improved, and quite frankly is a better platform for publicizing my music. I will continue to release more information on the new album, which will be coming out in a month or two.
Thanks for all your support and kind words. I will reward you in the best way, and with the best music.
